It’s 2026 …….. eBay makes ALOT OF MONEY.
CAN WE GET THE TECH TEAM TO ACTUALLY DO SOME WORK.
ITS TIME FOR A QR CODE SYSTEM
WHEN SHARING YOUR STORE a QR CODE SHOULD POP UP
NOT THE 2010 OPTIONS WE GET AT THE MOMENT

·8 months agoI don't think a QR code is really necessary, One of those things that just because you can doesn't mean you should.

·8 months ago@my-cottage-books-and-antiques Yes, you are correct. You can print a QR code on your invoice and I think coupons, too.
@pokepeelery It is very easy to create your own QR code. Lots of free sites out there. I've had one on my business card for 3 years. I can even see the data on when people scan it. There are a few businesses around town that allow me to leave a stack of my business cards on their counter, and I also will leave them in restrooms. I do not get a ton of sales from it, but I do get leads on inventory.

·8 months ago@pokepeelery For what it is worth, when you print a packing slip you can include a QR code. I believe ebay also provides the option to print a QR code on printed coupons. How were you planning on using the QR code?

·8 months agoPretty sure, Amazon has to first, provide a QR code for their sellers to use and then eBay picks up on that 2-3 years later.

They should just add Facebook and X to that list. That's all they need.

·8 months agoQR codes are completely lame and do not work with most 'older'..(and I'm talkin 5 years old) phones...without adding some 'app' **bleep**.
No different that 'take this pill' and then 'here's another pill to fight the side effects of the first pill'.
Only the QR code is completely not needed.
