Sending offers before I start a sale
I'm starting a new sale soon. If I send out offers on items that are being watched, does that lock them up from being added to the sale if it's within the 48 hour offer period?
Do I need to stop sending offers 4 days before a sale starts?

OP5 months agoOk, thank you, I just wanted to make sure that it would actually add the items to a newly created sale and not have them locked out.

·5 months agoIt seems some things have changed concerning sending offers. I know your question was concerning running a sale, but I thought a buyer couldn't receive two offers from me for an item and this must have changed recently.

·5 months agoI run a lot of sales, and I also send offers many times at the same time.
In fact sometimes I'll have a sale running, see that I have watchers and still send an offer with a little more off the sale price I am running.
So when running a sale, the sale price is posted even if offers have been sent.
I don't really worry about a difference in price between a listed price vs. sale price vs. an offer price. I give it little thought because the point is to sell the item, not the method used to make the sale.

·5 months agoFrom what I've seen, annoyingly, it doesn't seem to prevent them from going into the sale, which means the offer may be for a higher amount than the buy it now price once the sale kicks in. I do try to avoid sending offers before an item will be going on sale for that reason.
