Selling - Tried to revise listing but told weekly limit reached
I have listed a single item for sale. This is the first item of this particular type (year and mint of coin) I have ever listed. However, when I tried to revise the listing to alter the price, Ebay gave me a message that I have reached a weekly listing limit for items of this type. I do not understand this. I have listed a single item and am simply attempting to revise it to change its price, not list a new item of the same type.
What is going on? With rapid changes in the price of silver, it is sometimes necessary to change prices of existing items. Are we no longer allowed to do this?

·5 months agoA lot of new rules as of January 2026. If you are on a listing limit of one listing per week you may also have revision blocks for buy-it-now listing to prevent abuse of the 1 listing per week limit

·6 months agoWhat happens if you try changing the price in Seller Hub directly - instead of opening up and editing the listing?

·6 months agoYou have other listings so the increase may go over your monthly allowed total based on the total $s of those listings combined.

OP6 months agoBoth the dollar amount and the number of listings were well below the limits. And the message referred to a weekly lit, not a monthly limit.

·5 months agoHey did you ever get an answer to your question? I've ran across the same problem.

·6 months agoI would guess that you're trying to revise it over the dollar amount you're allowed to list, and that it is not a limit on the number of listings. You can see your listing limits on the Seller Hub.
