EIS blocks 'used auto parts' as well (on Top of all the new 'licensing/requirements to sell to UK direct)- going anywhere (due to possible fuel/oil contamination (even if the item NEVER has anything to do with oil/gas...like a rear bumper)
Engine parts are an item I've seen others talk about being restricted, even if it's not on the list in the link that was provided. The belief is that it's because they could hold used motor oil, though I don't know if that's absolutely confirmed.
There's nothing you can do about it, though. Just apologize that you can't ship to that customer and move on.
Others have already noted the problem(s) with shipping to the UK. I noticed you are using the eBay EIS program for international shipments. It may be that eBay is blocking or not handling the shipment of auto parts into the UK due to all the recent UK laws on imports. You could run a couple of experiments to see if you can find a fix.
If you have a buyer that is interested in a particular listing you could try listing that item in another category besides auto parts. You could try setting up alternate international shipping options for that item and see if you can ship it directly. You could try listing on another venue/site to see if the restrictions are exclusive to eBay. I am not sure if any of your buyers may be using a freight forwarder or how the freight forwarders are handling the import restrictions. You could also reach out to some freight forwarders and ask them directly.
These are just experiments of course and actually completing a sale and doing the shipping may cause issues with customs but it may help you identify where/what the issue is.
OK boys and girls, Seems ever since the UK left the EU they are treated as a third world country over there. I couldn't even get a quote from the USPS on freight to Britain. Customer said it is the aftershock of BritEx.
Seems as if the new world order does not want anyone bucking their plan.
It may not be able to be shipped to the UK due to customs restrictions. You might want to check it out or google items that cannot be exported to the UK. I know they have some pretty strict laws.
Thanks for getting back to me. I don't believe that's the issue. These are just engine parts. Sold in the UK before. What I'm seeing as an ebay international shipper is the fact that I have no restrictions on which countries I'll ship to. When I look at the page where it shows the countries serviceable the UK is not listed neither is Britain, Scotland or Ireland. Many of the countries in the EU such as Germany, France, Belgium are shown. Customer sent a snapshot of his screen which says in RED error that it can't be sent to the address and we have confirmed the correct address. Ebay help is no help at all customer service agents all asleep. Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Bruce

Like @wastingtime101 stated, recent rules have been changed. Here's a link that might be helpful:

·2 years agoShort answer: there isn't one. A huge amount of items are restricted to the UK because of recent rules and regs.
