Selling stamps from an Embargoed Country?

I am a stamp collector with stamps in my collection from both Iran and Cuba - all acquired fro dealers throughout the world other than in Iran and Cuba. I want to sell thses Iranian and Cuban transactions to other collectors in non-embargoed countries. When I try to list thse items for sale on Ebay, I get a message stating that selling thses items from embargoed counttries is prohibited - even though they were purchased elsewhere - not directly from Cuba or Iran. How can I list them on ebay for sale? I note many other items from Iran listed on ebay. What is the secret?

The answer to me is quite simple, donâ€™t list those items.

Just because others are listing items from Iran doesnâ€™t mean itâ€™s ok to do, they just havenâ€™t gotten caught yet.

My experience is that you cannot.

If I list a stock certificate for a US corporation, the Cuban Cafe, it is removed because of the embargo.

Give up before you get labeled a congenital policy violator and are subject to greater scrutiny.
