Selling on ebay
Okay I have sold many items on ebay, however the last item I sold was $35 after eBay fees I was to receive $23.04 however my payout was $4 which I never received because my card apparently won't accept less than 10. I am hearing impaired I tried to reach out to customer support but was treated poorly I don't know how to get my question of why I was only paid $4 can anyone help thank you

·4 months agoThe OP seems to have a debit card not checking linked ("my card apparently won't accept less than 10") If the $4 wasn't accepted by OPs debit account, the funds should have bounced back to ebay and I would assume are sitting in his account somewhere. Hopefully no account passwords were provided to the unsatisfactory customer service.
I was wondering if even the amount the OP initially expected made sense: "last item I sold was $35 after eBay fees I was to receive $23.04" - thats like 30%. Without knowing the transaction, we can only guess.

·4 months agoGo to ORDERS, ALL ORDERS (click on VIEW ORDER DETAILS). This will give a detailed breakdown of EBAY fees and your net profit (how much money you should get).
Go to PAYMENTS, PAYOUTS (to get details breakdown of your Payout). EBAY payouts can be extremely confusing because EBAY often "combines orders" and also deducts for "multiple shipping labels" (for several different items).

·4 months agoPlease don’t give up; you’ve had some nice sales recently and it looks like you’ve got a good pipeline of items available. The contributors to this forum can usually help determine why you are seeing such a low payout. Are you able to provide a screenshot of the details of that $35.00 sale (leaving out the buyer information)? You should be able to see it on your Orders screen for paid and shipped items.
(I am not seeing a recent $35.00 sale - was it under a different selling account?)

How about the other items you have sold; have you received payment for them?
Did you promote any items you sold? Promotion fees can sometimes eat up any profit.
If you go to your Seller Hub, under Payments there is a drop down menu. You should be able to find the information you need there.

OP4 months agoBuyer paid shipping all deductions were listed I'm just about done with ebay

·4 months agoCheck your account charges. It shows every charge and itemized what the charges are for. They could've deducted for store subscription.

·4 months agoOr perhaps the OP used "promotion" and did not realize it?
To the OP: One factor you may have missed: The buyer doesn't pay the shipping fee directly to the carrier. The buyer pays the shipping cost to the seller and then the seller uses that money to buy the shipping label. The state sales tax, if applicable is deducted from the amount that the buyer pays the seller.
