Selling on Ebay
Absolute WORST customer service I have ever com across. I tried selling a pair of lenses for 1,700 dollars and was scammed through eBay's security system. Mind you eBay didn't scam me themselves but they allowed it to happen and wouldn't help me in any way. Mobile version of eBay is nearly impossible to understand and navigate. They buyer had paid for my lenses (its had said), then next thing I know I go to ship it, wait a few days, and I see nothing in my account. Tried calling eBay and they had said wait for it to be delivered and I will have funds in my account. Waited for it to be delivered, then waited 3 days, called again, and got the most disrespectful employee EVER. Said it was all my fault that I got scammed, and that I should have known it was a scam... NOT TO MENTION, they had to have known this transaction occurred because they took 230 dollars straight from my bank account. Now they are saying I cant even get a refund on that 230 dollars because the transaction didn't go through... My question is, If the transaction didn't go through, and they know this, why cant I get my 230 dollars back. Weird... Then the guy continued to laugh at me when I tried rebutting. They are saying now that I have to make a police report and if I cant find the guy who scammed me, its just me being out 1,700 lenses + 230 out of my account. Not worth my time at this point. 4 separate calls, 4 separate answers. Previously to that rude man, I had also talked to a different eBay customer service man who was part of issuing refunds and he had said the 230 will return to my account since he didn't complete his payment. Still not received nearly 2 weeks later. I'm fed up with you eBay, you are a disappointment. Anyone could fall for that trap. It specifically (currently) says in my EBAY account that label was created, the order was delivered, and that my buyer paid 1,700 dollars, then being listed as sold. Do better eBay, I will be spreading the word a long ways till your gone. This feels illegal.
