Selling Icloud locked or Activation Locked Iphones on ebay for Parts
We are a e-waste recycling company and we get tons of icloud locked iphones form corporations. In my ebay ad to sell them, If I clearly state that they are icloud locked and being sold AS-IS for parts only, does Ebay allow this or not? From the research I've done on Google, it is very conflicting. I just need to know, yes or no.

#1) Be sure the listings very clearly states "locked", "not working" or "parts only" in big, bold, red letters.
#2) Expect to get returns.

·4 months agoAs long as they are listed as "for parts or repair" I doubt you will have too much trouble. I won't say no trouble, you are dealing with buyers and they can be problematic.

·4 months agoI've sold several like that. Saying much the same as what you are suggesting - spares repair Apple icloud locked etc.
Never had any objection from ebay or any other problem.

Specifically this part:
Items or information that might enable or encourage illegal activity are not allowed. Examples include:
Kill switch-activated electronic devices, including smartphones and tablets
Now, for what you're doing, it doesn't seem like it should be disallowed, but it may be one of those situations where the wording of your listing matters.
