Selling fee breakdown on tcg singles
I mainly sell tcg singles and have recently been thinking of doing higher valued cards on ebay (1k and up mark) my question is how do the fees scale in the trading cards category? I already sell most of these in person and primarily use ebay to sell our cheaper and more niche cards. I do have a store as well i believe the premium sub but i dont remember. Essentially just weighting if it would be worth it to sell some on ebay or to send them to a consigner and keep the rest on marketplace. I see some consigners offering 93% of the sale price for 1k-3k items and 95% above that so im guessing they do a huge volume and ebay gives them a massive discount?

·9 months agoEbay offers modest discounts to sellers who have stores.
Not enough to upset other sellers any more than they are usually upset.
Selling commons is not a very profitable activity and many of those who do so are doing so to keep their help busy or cannot do arithmetic.
Sellers of more expensive cards on Ebay are doing so to extend their reach and improve the prices they obtain and keep the cards turning.
