Buying and selling are not the same thing and feedback for buying does not help/count. As a new seller you will be subject of up to 30 day holds on payouts and could be longer in some cases and possible limits on $ amounts or number of listings.

·8 months agoYou will need to set up a Managed Payments account to get paid.
For that you need to give eBay your bank account number and your SSN.
EBay will send information on your sales to the iRS so you can pay income tax on them.

eBay has requirements sellers must meet before they can list coins and collectible currency.
Here is the information on the requirements for selling items with eligibility requirements. There is a link to the coins policy for the specifics for those items. You must follow both policies to be able to list them.

·8 months agoBefore you can sell anything on EBAY you must register as a Seller. EBAY requires that you provide your checking account# and social security# (EBAY reports your income to IRS). NAME of your checking account, social security card and EBAY profile must be EXACT MATCH (or your application may be denied). Legal name only (no nicknames allowed).

Unless you have another account, you have 0 feedback as a seller on this one. As I said, buying has no bearing on selling, they are considered 2 separate things by eBay.

·8 months ago@three-rs ,
What do you have for sale? Did you buy any of the coins from sellers in China?
three-rs
OP8 months agoNo.
All bought on Ebay from reputable buyers.
Because of Ebays strict policy on selling.
Currently will not be listing any.
20 year Ebayer . A thousand 100 % reviews as both buyer and seller.
Will find other venue to sell.

·8 months agoeBay's policy is not that strict. No fakes. No raw ungraded coins above $2500, not listing current exchangeable notes over $1000 in total value...
I sell coins, and I don't have any problem listing them.

·8 months agoSorry--don't understand.
You inquired about selling coins on eBay. Multiple responders gave you excellent information about how to do it and the requirements.
And now you've decided to find another venue to sell?
What changed your mind?

·8 months agoFunny all those reputable sellers had to follow the same polices you don't agree with.
How do you think they became reputable.
Don't you want to be reputable to sell on ebay?
