selling brand names
HI JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS GONE THROUGH THIS, IM SELLING A CHANEL I RECEIVED AS GIFT, BUT I GOT IT REMOVED, I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY SINCE, THERE ARE ALOT OF SELLERS THAT ARE SEELLING CHANEL PRODUCTS? DOES ANYONE KNOWS WHAT I CAN DO, OR IS THIS FORBIDDEN? THEN WHY ARE OTHER SELLERS SELLING IT. THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP. BEST Y

I go right into Chanel and buy it there. Yes it’s expensive.
oh so lovely & people through the years, decades, stop to tell me how good I smell!
I’m aware men on the subway sit next to me smelling me!

Was it perfume that was removed?
If so, I think the following side-by-side comparison clearly demonstrates why your item was removed.
You can't imagine how many "gifts" are fakes.
For highly faked brands, if you didn't PERSONALLY purchase them from a legitimate retailer, it's always a good idea to verify authenticity before listing.

·3 years agoThe pictures I've shown, one from the OP's ended listing and the other from an online image are pictures of the bottle of perfume. The golden color is the liquid.

·3 years agoYou are just in a very long list of resellers who have had Chanel products taken down. Chanel is as protective of their brand as any company. They do not allow non-authorized people to sell their product. They have successfully argued in the courts that only an authorized Chanel dealer can provide the true Chanel experience and all other sales are counterfeit to that experience. Do not try to relist the product.

Possibly whoever gave it to you bought a counterfeit item. Chanel and most luxury designer brands have agents scouring the internet to remove fakes. Don't relist or you could lose all eBay privileges.

·3 years ago@oral437 What @dhbookds stated above is likely to have had something with why your listing was removed. So telling us the answers to the questions would be important for the discussion to help you better understand what happened.
They don't just remove brand name items because they are not authentic, there are other reason it can happen. I sold fragrances for years. I hope you will come back and tell us more.

I WAS SELLING A CHANEL ALLURE HOMME, AND IT WAS PRACTICALLY NEW, SO I PUT NEW WITHOUT BOX, SINCE IT WAS A GIFT FOR MY HUSBAND,SO THEN AFTER 3 DAYS THEY REMOVED IT, BECAUSE SOMETHING ABOUT THE VERO PROGRAM, SOMEONE COMPLAIN I DIDNT HAVE PERMISSION, I MEAN IVE SOLD BEFORE WITH NO ISSUES,MAYBE I SHOULD HAD PUT IT IN ANOTHER CATEGORIE, THANK YOU FOR ANY ADVICE. Chanel has you on their radar.
It is my suggestion you remove all Chanel listings and find another place to sell them.
The second offence should come with real consequences to your ability to list here.

It wasn't that you didn't have the permission to sell in general on Ebay, it was you didn't have permission to sell Chanel products.,
But now don't re-list it, they will be watching for that and if you do that you could risk trouble on your selling account, so for this item you will just need to sell it elsewhere.

·3 years agoSounds like EBAY "bots" flagged your item. Do NOT relist or your account may be terminated.
