·Sep 10, 2026 at 10:26 PMEBAY charges "fees" on the entire sale (purchase price + shipping + sales tax) plus 40 cent handling fee. Also, if you promoted your items you would also have to pay fees on the "entire amount".
I suggest you to ORDERS, VIEW ORDER DETAILS (this will give you an exact breakdown of where the money went).
Also, bear in mind you will not make any profit selling $1 items (you should lump several items together to get your sales average up to $20).

·Sep 10, 2026 at 10:18 PMI always encourage new sellers to do their homework BEFORE starting to list on Ebay. It is a JOB and should be treated as such. For the very basics, you should be reading the User Agreement you agreed to so that you could start selling on this site. As well as policy pages on HOW TO list an item as well as the policy pages on how your money is processed. These are just the basics. Lots more to learn, but you really should do your homework BEFORE listing your first item.
When funds will be available
You can see when your funds will be released in Seller Hub or My eBay. However, your funds may be unavailable for longer if we have concerns about the order.
Here are some situations where transaction holds could be applied to a seller's funds and when those funds would typically be released.
A brand-new private seller
New private sellers will typically receive their funds within 2 days after delivery confirmation (for items sent with an ebay label), 7 days after delivery confirmation (for items sent with a third-party label), or 31 days after the buyer pays (for items sent without tracking) while they build a consistent track record. Once they've qualified to receive their funds faster, they'll typically receive their funds within 2 days of the buyer’s payment.

·1 month agoI would suggest only doing auctions for the higher value items. For the lower items, people want to buy now, not bid and wait. As you can see, most auctions get 1-2 bidders only. These items are mostly common cards and interested buyers will just go elsewhere, auctions are for the rarer things. Good luck~.

·1 month ago@bri_818604 It's the low dollar items (0.40, 0.1, etc.) sucking up your profits - you still have to pay the regular processing fee (which is more than some of your items), and fees are charged on shipping as well as item price and shipping is more than item price, also. Try to find some higher dollar cards/items to sell along with your lower dollar items, or lot up your cards.

·1 month agoI don't know what's going on, but you're working too hard for no money. Stop selling $1 items.
