Selling 350z, 86k miles, but get no responses, no messages, nothing... but hundreds of views...broken?
Selling my car, hundreds of views and watching but not one ? or message ... that just seems odd.
Have same setup on Auto-Trader and getting messages daily , asking questions, scams, etc. - point being one will get messages even if false flags.
However, I am getting no offers, messages , etc. and it is a great car... so not making sense?
Any ideas why seems dead....

·1 month agoIf you are getting views but nobody is buying that generally mean that no one wants to buy it.

·1 month agoAs a car guy I think it is a sweet looking car. What would kill the deal for me is the automatic transmission. If it was a manual I think it would be gone fast.

I offer two alternative and somewhat contradictory explanations for what is happening. Based on the limited number of potential buyers for a Z car.
The Ebay buyer is different from the Auto Trader Buyer and is deterred by something in your listing from any follow-up.
You are reaching the identical buyers. They prefer Auto Trader, and are asking their questions on Auto Trader. As soon as they see your car is one they already considered on the other site, they move on from your Ebay listing.
I have known Z car owners for a long time. Most of them no longer own them. Some have moved on to other brands with gasoline engines, some have switched to EVs because their acceleration is more exciting than any gasoline vehicle they have owned.
If you are getting that much interest on Auto Trader, it makes you wonder why the car has not sold.
