I placed several items on email and rec'd message from Ebay that one buyer was interested and he deducted price. I accepted the price. The piece I placed on Ebay was presented with MATS only, not with FRAME. Ebay contacted me that custoner paid the deducted price and I immediately sent piece UPS, First class with insurance (in case got lost). Returning home I found message from customer that if piece is not framed he wants money back. Mind you. I never placed piece as framed, only that it had mats.

Block buyer of course. You know no returns does not mean no returns. Buyer needs to open a claim for a refund and you might have to pay for shipping depending on how buyer opens the claim. Buyer might be thinking buyer can get a refund and keep item since you have no returns. If it just happened today...be real polite and businesslike with one just email. State what has to done to get a refund. Got to be nice since they get to leave feedback. One bad feedback can hurt if you don't have a lot of feedback yet. The buyer might be working you and knows what they can do for a refund and a free item...just my opinion. A lot of us beginnings have been there.

Since the piece was only shown as & described as matted.

The frame demand was to back out of their purchase or secure more than what was offered for sale in the listing.

Consider including buyer into your BBL

You could tell them to return it to you for a refund.

That one item you sold is not in a frame so I do not know why they would expect a frame. If the frame is important to the buyer I would think they would want to see a picture of it in the listing before purchasing the item.

Tell him that he can return the package unopened for a full refund. Do not refund before you get the item back.

You are correct that listing talks about mattes but not about a frame. You might want to emphasize that a bit more if relisting.

There are couple of other issues with that listing that should be mentioned. The term for an animation frame is 'cel' and not 'cell' (it is spelled correctly on the back of the print), and this is a commemorative limited-edition print from an original frame of computer animation; it is not really a cel that was used in production.

Finally - you have a line in your description reading 'Please note $99.00 is for one.' I assume that dates from back before you revised your listing with a lower price so you might want to fix that just to avoid confusion. Good luck.
