Sellers beware in eBay
Sold an item with plenty of pics including it working and discribed it accurately. I have a "no return" policy on all my listings but due to eBay's "money back garantee" policy, which I was never notified about, I was forced to refund the item and pay shipping on it out of my own pocket. SmeBay is trying to be Amazon but the trouble is most items general people sell are used and condition is subjective. I stated "over all good condition" and that is accurate. I asked buyers to contact me with questions and any additional info. The item was around 80 years old, it was not listed as mint. I was stuck with over $50 in shipping. I will never buy or sell anything on eBay again and I would not recommend anyone selling on eBay, sellers have no rights.

·1 year agoI will never sell or buy on eBay either same thing only the handbag I sold shipped to the authenticator which is kind of far away and I had to get insurance on it because it was an expensive bag. It was authenticated. It was in excellent condition almost perfect all the pictures and everything The person got the bag and said it smelled like smoke and it It and faded and all this crap and the zippers didn’t work. It was buyers remorse. I mean really her husband probably saw the bag and said how much did you pay for that? Send it back People should not be buying things they can’t afford. It was she was full of crap. It went back through the authenticator and then I finally got it back and I was worried in case it wasn’t the bag that I sent, but it was my bag and it was still in beautiful condition. The person that got it did put a scratch on the strap, but Ebay doesn’t care about that. They refunded the buyer as soon as it got to the authenticator. And I also did have to pay $50 for shipping so instead of selling stuff and making money we’re actually spending money on shipping and not getting anything in return. I absolutely hate Ebay and I think they’re gonna go bankrupt because people are starting to learn is the Lowest class, trash of e-commerce. They have no customer service because their sales went down. They’re trying to work out a deal with USPS because their sales went down. They’re active users went down. Their merchandise went down. They’re not doing so hot anymore and that’s why they let the buyers return for every stupid reason or scam the sellers because they’re gonna go bankrupt at some point.

·3 years agoI had a similar situation with a pair of $150 boots . . . brand new, tags still on, original box. Ebay just lost a credible seller protecting the 'scammers'. I am deleting my account . . . will NEVER buy or sell again with ebay!
