SellerLedger Bookeeping. Equivelent to Outright and prior GoDaddy Bookeeping Get It!
I went through the trial period with Kevin Reeth’s new equivelent to outright GoDaddy bookkeeping and this program is just perfect and so easy to use just like the program he developed earlier. I joined for a subscription of 10 dollar a month for up to 250 transactions. It goes up if you have more than that but it is well worth it for the ease of use. Anybody frustrated with other more complicated services that cost even more money needs to get this.

I was also one of the veteran eBay sellers that Kevin Reeth contacted back in January for user help in developing a replacement for Outright/GoDaddy. Since Kevin was the original founding CEO of Outright, which became GoDaddy Online Bookkeeping, he already had a lot of experience in what the average eBay seller needs for simple, user-friendly Sole Proprietorship bookkeeping and taxes information. He and his team developed it with my help and feedback, and that of quite a few other eBayers.
We were very eager unpaid beta-test volunteers, so we have no skin in the game except for the satisfaction of having a relatively quick replacement for GoDaddy throwing thousands of us under the bus last June.
It's definitely worth checking out. I think you'll especially like the fact that it automatically downloads eBay data every 3 hours and sorts it, and also presents it in a simple Schedule C Parts I and II monthly, quarterly and annually. Manual editing and entry of things like COGs, mileage, supplies, and other line items have allowed me to keep up to date with everything I need.
No more pencil, paper, merging of reports at tax time, and certainly no more wondering how many eBay sellers are frustrated with the very expensive, cumbersome and confusing Quickbooks that the average seller here will only need to use 10% of.
Kevin and the gang have plans in the near future to also link Amazon, Etsy, and others in the same manner. PayPal and many banks can also be linked now.

·3 years agoI signed up for the 30-day trial - so far so good, we'll see. If I like it I'll take out a regular subscription. Right now I'm using spreadsheets and formulae, which is OK but tedious.

·3 years agowhere do you add cost of goods per item sold? Thats the only thing i cant figure out. I sell alot of phones but each phone is aquired at different prices.

After you've signed up for the free trial, or have already subscribed, add your COGS under the Expenses tab at the top of the page, just to the right of Dashboard and Income. Click on it. Then toward the left and top of the Expenses page, click on Add Expense. A new window will open for you to manually add all the information, one at a time if need be. Select "Cost of Goods Sold" in the Category box. Everything will populate where it needs to be, including in the Schedule C Parts I & 2 under the Taxes tab... really easy. You can also edit anything editable by clicking on the blue pen at the far right of any entry.
I always keep a Seller Ledger tab open in my Firefox browser for easy access and any manual entry of items I may need to do, sometimes daily with COGS, mileage, and shipping & office supplies I may purchase. You can also add any Expense Subcategories you may want.

·3 years agoHow do I contact Seller Ledger? I have been a customer for about 3 months and everything was working fine. Lately I noticed that my bank account info. isn't syncing. It is saying "We ran into an issue authorizing your connection with REWARDS CHECKING Please reconnect". I have tried to reconnect with my bank a few times and it keeps saying the same thing.
I cannot find anything on the site where I can contact them with this problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Send them an email at support@sellerledger.com. Let them know your issue, and they're pretty good at getting back in a reasonably timely manner.

·3 years agoSounds interesting...I checked their website and it only mentions Amazon sellers (nothing about EBAY). Their cheapest Starter Plan is $49/month (2,500 orders/month) . That is kinda of pricey (GoDaddy was $119/YEAR).

·3 years agoI see what the problem is when I typed SELLER LEDGER in Yahoo Search it pulls up other website Seller Legend. I guess that other website Seller Legend pays more to appear as 1st option (very sneaky).
