Seller wish list.
I wish you could add/edit notes directly from the listing.
I wish ebay would extend the 90 days before they delete a out of stock listing ... or at least warn you before they do. A lot of my out of stock items take me more than 90 days to procure.
Anyone else?

·6 months agocosts money, but 6 Bit was developed by the guy that developed turbo lister (that ebay bought)........ Some what of a learning curve.....but alot faster than TL ever was......

·6 months agoI wish that I knew if there was a simple way to print off a list of my goods so that when I am doing inventory it would be a simple check off as I'm going down my shelves. Does that make sense? I like to do inventory with a paper hard copy in my hand. Does anyone know a way I can do that?

·6 months agoIIRC there used to be a print button on our active listings page but that vanished. Guess ebay (who knows best) decided sellers din't need that.
Even when we had it it was still never a 'simple' process (nothing on ebay ever is), it would print a lot of info we neither needed nor wanted.
eta: There's a download button now but I've never been able to get that to do anything.

·6 months agoYeah that used to work for downloading all active listings too but they took that away because ??? who knows. Seller Hub > Reports > Downloads will get you to the page I linked above and you'll see what I was referring to with the prompts.

·6 months agoI'm old school like that, too.
I go to Seller Hub --> Reports --> Downloads, then follow the prompts to download my listings into a spreedsheet. I then upload that spreadsheet to ChatGPT and have it parse out the columns with the title and custom SKU, then recrate that data into a downloadable PDF checklist. If I need to make changes, I tell ChatGPT the changes I need made and it will edit the original spreadsheet file for me, which I then can download and upload back into eBay with the changes.
The AI does not always know how to prevent titles from running into the next column in the PDF. Since I tend to use all 80 characters in my titles, I normally instruct the AI to limit the title it copes to the first 8 key words. That's all I need to verify the custom SKU matches the item as I am going down my list.
This process saved a ton of paper/ink and it took just seconds to get the PDF created and printed.

Because, as we all knew, there was no way the Seller Hub was going to be able to do what TL did. Heck we can't even trust them to not just poof our drafts.

·6 months agoOut of Stock listings renew 5 times, when the 6th cycle is about to happen eBay ends the listing. OOS listing remain active for UP TO 180 days and no less than 151 days.
FYI - It has never been 90 days, that only applies to listings that have been ended rather than OOS. When eBay ends an OOS listing it goes to ended/unsold (whatever they now call that section) where it will be available for relist for an additional 90 days.

Do you know if somewhere along those 180 days if I can add stock to the listing, then put it back to 0 and will that buy me another 180 days?

·6 months agoI don't have a definitive answer. Under normal circumstances this would work fine, "normal" meaning you are out of stock, add inventory, make a sale and then the listing goes back to OOS for the standard period.
I do not know if eBay does anything differently if you try to add stock and then 60 seconds later revise to zero available with the only intent being to extend the OOS period. My guess is that might be ok but it's just a guess based on nothing in particular.
You could test this theory but it would take 6 - 8 months to run the test.

·6 months agoI wish if an INR was found in a seller's favor or if an INAD return never gets sent back, that we don't get a ding on seller metrics.
I wish we could have a sale for a dollar amount (ie, all items $10) instead of a dollar amount off or percentage off. (I know there's a work-around of making all items a $15 then doing $5 off, but I'd still like the option to just change it to a price.)
I wish the 30-day return time required both opening a return and sending it back within 30 days. Now when buyers open a return, they have about 3 additional weeks after opening the claim to send an item back.
I wish I could have a "saved buyers" list of repeat buyers that I could send messages to. In particular, I'd like to message them a couple of days before I start a new sale so they could have 'special access' to what's coming up.
I'm sure there are dozens of others, but those are the ones that I've personally experienced lately, so I'll add more situations when I come across them.

It would be ‘nice’ if it were easier / more hands on friendly / for us to see repeat customers.

If you have the OOS option enabled, your out-of-stock listing will stay active (but hidden from buyers) for 180 days.

ETA: Your active listing that is out of stock should stay active for 180 days according to eBay. I have never let my out-of-stock listings remain in OOS status for longer than 60 or so days. Are you experiencing something different?

I lost a few that took me longer than that to re-stock.
I guess I will have to re-stock them, then set back to 0 again.
The trouble is me remembering to do so.
