I sold an item for $245 where the buyer paid $28.70 for shipping + $20.80. The ebay fees was $38.29. I should be getting $235.41 but they charged me money for shipping label costing $24.58. What is this for if buyer is paying for the shipping cost?

@rg1778 As others posted. Buyer pays you. Seems that there is a site where the buyer pays the site for shipping, but not how eBay works. Note that the buyer paid $28.70 Had that gone directly to the site you would not have earned the $4.22 difference between what the buyer paid, and the actual label cost. That $4.22 helps you as a seller pay some of the eBay selling fees.
