Seller Scam with fake shipping info
So Im pretty upset with EBAY on this one. I purchased a Thermal scope on eBay and the seller provided a tracking # that was the right city but wrong state. I opened a case and then the seller provided another tracking# with the right city and state but totally wrong Name and Address. I contacted UPS and they confirmed that the Adresses acociated with BOTH tracking #s both neither had my Ebay Confirmed Shipping address. Ebay has now sided with the buyer because the second tracking# had MY city and state and Delivered but UPS says the rest of the Address and name wasn't even close. UPS will not give out any info on what the address was because of security reasons but EBAY needs to allow for further investigation on Scams like this. I don't know how to achieve proof that the shipping label didn't have my name and address on either one.

·4 months agoYou should contact your credit card company to get this "payment reversed" due to fraud.

All eBay see is the item was delivered to the correct zip code.
You can try to get a letter from UPS and go through the whole business OR
there are 2 ways to get a refund -
File a Not As Described case per the MBG - the seller will have 3 days to refund or send you a label to ship back what you received.
On day 4 - if you have not received money or label, ask eBay to step in.
If that doesnt work - file a Credit Card charge back with the card you used.
