seller relisting items without Ebay relisting fee
Hello. I have always a been able to avoid the Ebay insertion fee by ending my active listings myself and relisting them with no fee. Two days ago, I tried my usual method for relisting and the "Actions" option which is normally bolded was not and would not give me the option to end my listings. Have I missed something? Did Ebay change their no charge for seller relisting items? Are other sellers having this problem? I would appreciate any information that the forum could provide. Thanks!

OP2 years agoThanks for your replies. I'll take a leap of faith and "assume" that I won't be charged. Enjoy your 4th of July activities.

·2 years agoYou can see how many remaining free listing fee items you have on your seller hub under promotions. A running total is there each month.

OP2 years agoThanks for your reply. I confess to not being a savvy seller but I remember reading that allowing Ebay to do the turnover had a fee involved as opposed to doing it oneself. How many listings is a seller allowed to relist per month?

The shortest answer is: generally 250 per month.
However, I'd suggest reading about them here:

·2 years agoWithout a store, as long as you stay under 250 listing, you won't be charged a fee.
You only have 69 listings, so no need to end and relist.

·2 years agoJust to put a fine point on it:
As long as your total insertions for the month (new insertions plus renewals) does not exceed 250, you should be all set.
I just want to clarify this for others who read it, because someone with only 100 active listings can still exceed their 250 insertions, if they cancel listings or have a lot of sales.

·2 years agoOthers have reported a similar issue: the End Listing options are missing.
I have not experienced this, as all the usual methods I use to end a listing are still available to me.
That said, it sounds like you are doing unnecessary work based on a false belief that this end/relist method could be used to avoid fees. If you thought it worked, it was because all you were doing was just continuing to use your free listings each month.

·2 years agoRelists usually count against a seller's allotment of free insertions, and are charged an insertion fee if no free insertion is available. eBay does have some special offers which allow free relists, but that's not standard.
If a listing has optional upgrades such as subtitle, those are charged every time the listing is relisted or when a fixed price listing rolls over each month.
