Seller question - I need advice please
Good morning everyone. I have a question and I need your advice please
I had a brand new Glam Seamless 100% Real Human Hair factory sealed in box. Retailed for $425.00. I sold to a buyer for $200.00 with free shipping. The buyer received, ripped a hole in the top of box instead of carefully cutting the seals to open. Them, the buyer did not tell the truth and ask for a return stating I sold her a used item & stated the original box was damaged. I can’t stand someone that doesn’t tell the truth. I spoke to the USPS carrier. Carrier stated the box that item was shipped in was not damaged or they would have stated this on the tracking before pkg was delivered. Question: would you fill a claim since I can’t sale it as new anymore OR would you just refund the $200.00 and take a loss and keep going? Thank you for helping me.

·1 year agoI would issue the buyer a return label and have them send it back.
When you get the item back refund them.
I am not knowing of the rules about selling hair but I do see a few "used" listings.
Perhaps you can sell as an "open box".
Good luck to you.

Your listing shows a ripped box. Maybe the buyer didn't see that or realize it meant the box may have been opened?
