This is so disappointing. I very often buy Darkroom photo paper, the kind that’s sensitive to light. Anyway, I’ve found a seller with two open boxes and I asked him how does he know how many pages are left in the box. His response was “I counted them” and when I asked him how he counted them he said ‘1…2…3…4…” and when I asked him if he took them out into the daylight to count them he replied “Yes, of course.”
Anyone not familiar with the darkroom can make this mistake but when I told him that the papers are ruined he wouldn’t reply and the paper is still up for sale. I’m assuming that there’s nothing I can do but make no mistake, the thieves are not always the buyers.

·2 weeks agoI agree it is frustrating, but any seller acting this way and willing to sell defective items, it will eventually catch up with them. But unfortunately a few buyers along the way may be in for additional frustrations and efforts not normally needed because of this sellers actions or lack of action.

If so, and though incorrect... maybe he thinks that will save him?

·2 weeks agoA No Return policy would not protect this seller or any seller from a buyer filing an INAD. They may not want to take the item back, but they would be hard pressed to avoid refunding the buyer.

·3 weeks agoSounds like you saved yourself the hassle of having to return a defective item. Unfortuneatly another buyer may not be aware of the possible problem.

·3 weeks agoWhen in doubt, don't buy from this seller ... and even if you do, you are protected by ebay's money back guarantee. So a seller selling something that he knows is defective makes no sense.
