Please check your preferences from the link provided as well. If they remain in the default of YES that eBay placed on your account, you may not be able to combine shipping and send an invoice for multiple items from the same buyer.
All buyer IDs will be required to pay separately for multiple items for which you have accepted their offers with that preference in place.
eBay is now in the process of adding more Buyer IDs into the requirement in order to even bid on auctions. Again, no more combined shipping with the preference in place, for they all will be automatically charged to the buyer as the auction ends.
Not so say that this is your case, but something to keep in mind in the event you DO wish to encourage multiple sales, and combine items and invoice your buyers that purchase more than one item from you at a time. Others have observed with this auto-pay system there is a lag of sorts from when it is auto-paid and when it actually posts. Notices are not even sent by eBay that the listing has ended and you have been paid. You may want to check back and see if it moved to your "ready to ship" page.

·2 years agoYou cannot see the buyers actual address until they have paid, and once they have paid you cannot send an invoice. Since eBay has already sends them an invoice in cases where I was able to save the buyer on the shipping I simply issue a shipping refund.
If this was for a combined shipping of multiple orders need a bit more information regarding the orders since there have always been some issues with the use of the shopping card, BIN/IPR, EIS and now the new provide payment method before making an offer or placing a bid.

·2 years agoJust a question - why are you sending invoices? ebay sends invoices for you.
It is not a good idea to send invoices because it will keep extending the invoice date which could affect the the time the customer has to pay you or timing in returns, claims etc.....

Interesting since I almost NEVER send an invoice to a buyer. However, as a buyer I have often received them from eBay.

·2 years agoCan you post an example of one of those invoices you have often received from eBay @dbfolks166mt with personal info blacked out? Would like to see what one looks like, since have never received any invoices as a buyer sent by eBay.

Not a problem. Most of my purchases are setup for autopay so for those I never receive an invoice either from eBay or the seller.

·2 years agoFor whatever it's worth: I've never received an invoice from eBay. I have received payment reminders from eBay when I've won auctions or my offers were accepted, but I've never received an invoice.
The only invoices I've ever received were sent by sellers.

·2 years agoNo @dbfolks166mt your seller sent that invoice. If you look, you received 2 email messages:
The first is the automatic EOA from eBay. The second is sent manually from a nervous seller who wants to be paid.
Ordinarily, you'll only get the first email message. eBay never sends invoices.

Nope only one message this was NOT an auction item. It may have come from the seller I have no way to tell and I paid for the item less than 5 minutes after I purchased it.

·2 years agoPosters don't typically come here to lie to each other. Ebay does and always has invoiced buyers for whatever they have purchased from a seller. The invoice is inside the email they get notifying them of their purchase.
Sellers only need to send invoices if they need to extend a discount to the buyer for one reason or another.
