Seller claiming inaccurate information in title of listing
Is it against Ebay rules that claiming "lowest price on Ebay" on title of listing ? The claim is inaccurate as there are many examples of other listings exactly the same but with a lower selling price. The claim is not accurate and unfair to other sellers.

But I suspect it's the Henckels listings that are so concerning to the OP.

·2 years agoPutting that statement in the title is a waste of characters, and those who are stupid enough to believe it are very few.
Even the people dumb enough to buy items which are priced high enough for a sellers to order from Amazon and still make a profit are not that dumb. Close to it, but not that dumb.

·2 years agoI don't think most buyers would be oblivious enough to not bother checking out that claim, especially If that seller's listing is surrounded by search results showing others as well. It would be obvious pretty quickly that that's not true.
In addition, that seller would be facing either a return or unhappy feedback at minimum if his buyer made the discovery later on that his claim of "lowest price on eBay" was not true.
How does that saying go? "Never interrupt your enemy while he is making a mistake." ðŸ˜

Probably at the time they listed it, many competitors come soon after and they lower their price to beat your price.

·2 years agoThis is case where it is probably better to 'mind your own bobber'. Before I kick up a fuss about something I think I should report, I remind myself to take a close look at my own store. I might have someone eyeing soemthing of mine they deem unfair. That statement may have been made when it was the lowest price and since then more have appeared in listings at lower prices.

·2 years agoAs a buyer, if you know the claim to be false, don't buy it.
If you've already bought it, ask to cancel.
How would that be unfair to other sellers?
Do you think someone would buy it based SOLELY on that statement and not bother comparing price?
