Seller Calendar 2026 (v.Q1)
Better late than never. Upcoming dates and events for sellers to keep track of during 1st quarter 2026:
- First week of January - eBay January Seller News
- January 1, Thursday - Post offices closed for New Year's Day
- January 15, Thursday - Quarterly estimated tax deadline for Sept 1 - Dec 31, 2025. (Due to recent disasters, some states have extended relief deadlines.) Reminder: USPS processing and postmarking of letters/flats can take a couple of days, so if you're mailing in taxes rather than e-filing, don't wait until the deadline. Give yourself a week cushion.

- January 31, Friday - 1099-K tax forms issued by this date. General 1099-K info (link), 1099-K transaction report (link), eBay tax guide (link).

Thank you for the Daylight Saving Time reminder 😊 In Arizona, we do not "Spring Forward" or "Fall Back". So, it is a good reminder that soon I will be on eBay time when listing.

·8 months ago@wastingtime101 there are two seller check-in scheduled for this year in months that do not contain a webinar. You can get all the data and information for all the upcoming monthly webinars and the two check-ins by going to the registration page for the February, and other, webinars. I have signed up for all of them, it's easy to do.

OP8 months agoThanks @my-cottage-books-and-antiques - I was looking at the Seller Events page and they aren't posted there yet. Didn't go to the webinar registration page because I hadn't had time yet, and also not sure I can (or want) to attend the one on ads. Clicked on it now and I can see the Spring check in will be May 28 and Fall check in will be Oct 8.
Revising my last post to remove the question, and to add the march webinar info.

Thank you so much for this!
For sellers who find it helpful, I’ve posted our February RVA Seller Circle co-working sessions on the eBay Events platform. They’re free, low-key, and designed for exactly this kind of “list when you can†mindset.
And here's the February post that I will add to throughout the month, RVA Seller Circle - February 2026 Co-Working Sessi... - The eBay Community
Thanks again!

OP8 months agoâ„ï¸ðŸš‘ Reminder: If you're dealing with severe weather or other emergent situations, make use of Time Away mode.
To set it from the app go to : My eBay > Settings > then find Time Away under the Selling section.
To set it from the web go to : https://www.ebay.com/vac/TimeAway
- If you have a Store subscription the file path is Seller Hub > Store > Time Away
- If you don't have a store subscription you can find the link in the Selling Tools panel on the Seller Hub Overview page or through the help page linked below.
Here's the help page about Time Away settings and how they work:
https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/selling-tools/time-away?id=5137
Read all exclusions carefully because Time Away does not play well with offers or auctions!
Whenever possible, plan to have any auctions or offers end a week before you leave. Turn off auto-accept thresholds for offers if you are allowing sales during Time Away, and turn off the automatically send offers feature from your offers management page here if you are allowing sales during Time Away.
There's an option to set up an out of office auto-response within Time Away settings.
Keep in mind you're still responsible for handling any return requests, claims or payment disputes that are filed while you're away; you do not get an extended window to respond. Plan to check in every few days from your phone if possible (on the app or your phone's browser) to avoid account defects for not responding to claims.
