Check the eBay Announcements page for regular updates throughout the year.
You can subscribe to the announcements forum to receive notification updates on Community if that makes it easier to track, and you can also find announcements linked on your Seller Hub Overview page.
This link (2024 Seasonal Guide) is for the eBay Export site (for international sellers listing on .com), however it provides a handy list of holidays throughout the year and the types of items that perform well during those times. It's worth looking at for listing / sourcing inspiration.
There used to be a similar type of calendar offered to US sellers on .com however I could not find one for 2024, not even on the Seller Center Seasonal Playbook page, which at this point is really just a how-to sell page and has nothing to do with the Seasonal Playbook title.

In case you missed it, the 2024 Pantone Color of the Year is: Peach Fuzz
Mark your calendars, set alerts, print this page, bookmark it, or whatever it is you do to keep track.
Did I miss anything? Probably. Hit reply and add it below. 👇

OP2 years agoI don't want to do a Q3 version of the calendar, but will probably do a new post with a "holiday" edition like I did last year at the end of the summer. For now I'm replying with updates on a few individual line items.
USPS rate changes go into effect Sunday, July 14.
So far we have confirmed changes for market dominant rates and services as I posted here:
https://community.ebay.com/t5/Shipping/USPS-Price-Changes-effective-July-14-2024-Media-Mail-ESE-Stamps/td-p/34400380
We do not yet know if package rates for Ground Adv and Priority will be impacted. To be more specific, USPS confirmed they're not changing retail/commercial rates, but we don't yet know if they will be changing rates they contract with third parties (like eBay, PirateShip, etc) which are typically lower than commercial rates.
If those rates are changing we should start hearing from shipping providers within the next week or two and I'll post to the above linked thread if we find out there will be package rate changes.

·2 years agoThanks so much for compiling all of this info in one post. Awesome!!
Too often important eBay info gets scattered throughout the site and can easily be overlooked or forgotten.

·2 years agoGREAT!!!! I was just wondering when to list body parts...........lol
wastingtime101
OP2 years agoProp body parts @dhbookds ? Halloween End Aug - Oct.
Automotive body parts? Prob on the calendar linked.
My body parts? You can sell me off in pieces next week. I'm going to explode as eBay keeps making the listing form more inefficient instead of fixing things they broke when they "unified" it with the app. ☠ï¸

·2 years agoas entered on calendar: Body Parts (Boat parts).................May/June.
lol I just get tickled at how Ebay can be so awkward at times...... Shooting themselves in the foot is a way of life....
Hope you don't come apart @wastingtime101 , it sure seems they mean to drive some of us to it at times........

·2 years agoThanks @wastingtime101 !!!! lots of good info.......
Just a minor point I ran into doing some research...........New Heroscape games will be released sometime this year...so that may spur more interest in the old stuff, so if you have any......might pay to consider holding onto higher prices.........
