Seller account restricted even though all orders have tracking — sales suddenly dropped to zero
Summary: celestetcg is experiencing a restriction on their seller account due to what appears to be an error with order tracking information. Despite all orders having tracking numbers, their account remains restricted with a looming deadline to resolve the issue. They noticed a drop in sales, suspecting it might be linked to the restriction. They seek advice from others who have faced similar issues, asking whether the restriction affects listing visibility and whether it resolves automatically or requires contacting support.
Hi everyone,
My seller account is currently showing a restriction related to incomplete order tracking information. However, when I open the issue, eBay shows:
Orders without tracking: 0
Orders with tracking: 25
Every affected order has a tracking number and carrier
The page says: “Thanks, no new restrictions will apply from this issue”
At the same time, my account still says “Your seller account is restricted” and asks me to resolve the issue by August 22. It also says existing restrictions may take up to five days after delivery to be lifted.
I have 976 active listings, and today was the first day I received no sales at all, which is very unusual for my store. I’m concerned that the restriction may be affecting the visibility of my listings in search results.
Has anyone experienced this before?
Did your sales or listing visibility drop during the restriction?
Was the restriction removed automatically five days after delivery?
Did you need to contact eBay and request a manual review?
Is there a way to confirm whether listings are hidden or suppressed in search?
I have already contacted support, but I would appreciate hearing from sellers who have dealt with the same situation. Thank you.

·3 weeks agoYou likely have a two fold problem. It appears from what you shared you have a lack of tracking on your items. So what you describe above and the following information is likely your current issues you need to work through.
I always encourage new sellers to do their homework BEFORE starting to list on Ebay. It is a JOB and should be treated as such. For the very basics, you should be reading the User Agreement you agreed to so that you could start selling on this site. As well as policy pages on HOW TO list an item as well as the policy pages on how your money is processed. These are just the basics. Lots more to learn, but you really should do your homework BEFORE listing your first item.
When funds will be available
You can see when your funds will be released in Seller Hub or My eBay. However, your funds may be unavailable for longer if we have concerns about the order.
Here are some situations where transaction holds could be applied to a seller's funds and when those funds would typically be released.
A brand-new private seller
New private sellers will typically receive their funds within 2 days after delivery confirmation (for items sent with an ebay label), 7 days after delivery confirmation (for items sent with a third-party label), or 31 days after the buyer pays (for items sent without tracking) while they build a consistent track record. Once they've qualified to receive their funds faster, they'll typically receive their funds within 2 days of the buyer’s payment.
