searches = 60 results?
I am repricing and having to look the books up to check current prices. (the books have been here so long that I am matching lowest prices for many). I noticed that when I did a title search I kept getting "60 results". I was sorting by condition so the lowest price books came up in the 60 results. Is this a known thing? Or is ebay limiting results heavily?

No, it's not uncommon for you to get 60 search results.
Search results vary all the time.
You can do a search, wait an hour then do the exact same search again with a different result.

OP5 months agoI was searching lowest price because I figure that may be how people search. My remark about pricing under the lowest current price meant for any condition. Normally when I list I price according to condition.
I just thought the search results I was getting seemed weird but I couldn't replicate it by doing the searches again.
The result of my repricing is t hat I purged hundreds of books that now have to come upstairs to the first floor and out of the house. This is killing my knees. I keep wanting to stay in business but all the time with the heavy work.

The "Price plus shipping: lowest first" sort order provides filtered results -- often drastically filtered. And the option to "see more results" may not always be shown as it should. The filtering may vary depending on the keywords used.
If you encounter a drastically filtered result for a keyword search using a desktop browser, you should be able to use the "Feedback" link in the lower right corner of the search results to provide feedback on your search to eBay developers. The more users provide info, the more likely something is to be done about the over-filtration problem.
You can avoid that problem entirely by using a different sort order.
If you have few results, try sorting by "highest first", then starting at the end of the results, scroll up instead of down. This also avoids the problem of variation listings with low-cost variations appearing at the top of the lowest-first sort.
If you have a bookmarked or saved lowest-first search that you use a lot, you can avoid the filtration by adding the following to the end of the search URL, then saving the resulting search:

·5 months agoI performed a simple search for the gardens of Eden. Search yielded 3K+ results.
eBay’s search results are embarrassing. How are Stephen King, Forgotten Home Apothecary, Goosebumps, Hunger Games and cookbook even remotely “related” to the book “Gardens of Eden”? And can someone explain what Raw Books are?
