Sales when items have volume pricing

I'm planning to run a sale in September for 20% off $50 for about 30 items. Some have volume pricing already. Will the volume pricing be paused by eBay for the sale or do I have to do that manually to ensure people don't get a double discount?

Items with an 'already' sale will not even show/do the 'new' sale and/or you won't even be able to do it.

Best to 'end' that one and start the other.
