Sales to the EU
Summary: boomerandspike1 has been selling on eBay for years and encounters a problem with shipping an item to a buyer in Finland, despite meeting eBay's seller performance requirements for shipping to the EU. caldreamer suggests checking shipping preferences in the seller account, advising to enable eBay International Shipping to allow international shipment, but warns that it will change all listings to international shipping, requiring exclusions for countries where shipping is not desired. They also remind that some items may be restricted from international shipping due to regulations.
I have been selling on Ebay for years. I have a person in Finland who wants to buy an item from me. He tried to order the item, but he gets a message that I am not shiping to Finland. Finland is part of the EU and I read the rules about shipping to those countries. It talks about seller performance, etc, and I appear to be qualified, as I have a very good seller reputation. In the things I have read, it talks about all the requirements, but nothing about how to be allowed to ship to those countries. I sent a letter to Ebay's offices in San Jose, but they have not responded. Does anyone know what I need to do to be allowed to sell and ship to the EU?

·1 month agoI checked your items it shows you only ship to USA. If you want to ship internationally using EIS Shipping. Go to SITE PREFERENCES, SHIPPING PREFENCES (click on EBAY INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING).
Be aware this will automatically change ALL your "present and future" listings to INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING. If you have items that do NOT want to ship internationally, you will need to EDIT your LISTINGS and "exclude countries" you don't want to ship to.
Also, be aware sometimes items cannot be shipped to a foreign country due to international regulations banned a particular item.
