If you are the buyer: eBay will calculate, assess, collect and remit the appropriate sales tax for your ZIP Code. Minnesota's law requiring third-party marketplace providers to collect and remit sales tax went into effect on October 1, 2019.

·3 years agoeBay collects the relevant sales tax and remits it to the state for you; you don't need to do anything about that yourself. Sales tax is charged according to the buyer's location, not the seller's.
