Once you have the seller's listings up (View listings will get you here), you just click on "Sold" on the lefthand side. That will give you the last 90 days of the seller's sold items.
You do sell your stuff dirt cheap. I couldn't justify the cheap part. I find that with normal pricing it might take a year to sell but it will and sometimes it sells the same day you listed.
Your listings tell me you could be mechanically inclined. I am also a PT Psychic and Fortune Teller.
Sales have been decent for me so far in January, could be better but I promote all my listings above 10% and also have a priority campaign going to help with visibility, it does seem a little slow because December was such a great month
My January has been very slow, however I have always been very slow in January, nothing new there. I sell a lot of collectibles and everyone is usually pretty tapped out from Christmas spending in January.
After 12+ years of dedicating my time entirely to business 2026 we have altered the course, focusing on a new business venture and only using this platform to pay the bills and cover overhead as thats the only thing its good for these days. eBay has tanked over the past few years and instead of holding on and paying more and more fees and promotions we've begun a new venture. Take it for what it is, the golden era of selling on here is over.
It's that time of year. People are getting their credit card bills from December, people aren't in the mood to buy after the holidays, people are broke, and it feels like the world is in turmoil. People just don't feel like buying right now. It happens every year. I sell on many sites and all of them are dead right now. After 20 years of online sales, I've learned to expect it. I don't like it but there isn't much I can do about it either.
I'm a small seller with less than 200 items listed. My sales were fairly good, but now I'm getting all the returns from folks who "rented" my items over the holidays!
It’s pretty early in the month to be making any determinations, but since the beginning of the year we’re up 4.3% compared to the same time period last year. Not as much as our 12% increase for December, but nothing to complain about.
Had an awesome 30-40 days thru December 20th, then next to nothing until the spigot turned back on December 30th and awesome again thru Thursday the 8th. Been shutout on eBay the 9th thru today.
I don't think many of my buyers are at work buying items during the holidays, thus the slow sales. Like I said above, typical.
Retail is always up and down.
My Amazon sales reflect ~about~ the same as the eBay, though I have 3 AMZ orders ready to go for tomorrow. eBay is a zero, so far.
I have had absolutely no sales this weekend at all. I believe there is something technical going on because the promotion button is acting funny. I always apply a promotion to my item, but now after I make my item live, eBay suggest that I promote the item. The item even says that it's promoted, but it's in the "Promote your item" category. When I go and promote it again, it seems to satisfy it.
In the last 90 days - you have sold 498 items. 29 were in January so far and a fair number sold in late Dec 2025. How much is a "THIS slow " in your book?
Maybe folks received their credit card statements, rent /mortgage, car//suv /pick up truck payments etc. etc.

I've only sold 21 in January not counting returns/cancels.
In December I had 170 sales or 5.6 per day.
If we extrapolate January so far, that would be about 1.9 per day or 57 in a 30 day period.
Sold for 41.5 years the same product types - never had a steady flow of orders year in year out or week to week or month to month but rather more like the movement of a Duncan yo-yo with lots of ups and downs. Had to save for those rainy days. At one time Sears Roebuck & Co used to be the largest retail company in the US - but they took a dirt nap. The "Big Three" auto makers used to be the largest in the world now it is Toyota.
Can't extrapolate continued success or dooms day with a pen or pencil.. It may signal changes are needed.. But one robin doesn't make a springtime either.
This may be a stupid question, but how is another seller able to see how many items you've sold in 90 days? I always wonder when I see the replies like the one from johnrj1226.
Uhm, people have different goals and expectations than others who have 5 items in their closet that they are selling and complain it is slow or they think they are these amazing sellers making all this money selling 4 items a week. Yet when you have people that are actual treating this as a business complaining sales are down, you get people like you saying things that should not be said as you do not understand their situation. I just do not get the snarkyness on these forums from many. Maybe they sold 29 for January, but they are used to selling 80-100 items at this point YTD or they are comparing to their December numbers. Who knows man, but this kind of stupid stuff needs to stop around here.
Last I heard one is free to post what I wish as long as they don't break any of the Khoros rules/policies. We all have opinions and navels - but they ain't all alike.

Yes it's slow for me too. Depends greatly on your niche I assume. A lot of my items are purchased as gifts, so this doesn't come as much of a surprise for me.
It does seem a little slow, Try to remember that affordability is still a major issue & people just got through with Christmas shopping so money can be very tight.
I thought it was slower than usual but when I went to seller hub and compared YTD numbers with the same period last year I’m actually only down a couple percent as of a couple of days ago.

My problem was the entire summer where I think I sold two things total.

·8 months agoIt feels slow to me but Ebay tells me that my disbursements are up 25% over last year for January so far.
Perhaps it is because Q4 was exceptionally good because of a surge in orders early in the quarter, and late December and January were slower.
