·7 months agoEvery month, like clockwork, my sales go pfffft for about a week right before/after the first. I don't even question or worry about it anymore. I just use the time to tidy up, reorganize, review listings, do research, and source a bit.
I think it's especially pronounced for those of us who sell slightly higher ticket "wants", rather than needs, as we're usually pretty far down on the list of things people are spending money on.

I had a decent January after an above average Q4. Must be people wanting older stuff than yours.
I believe the groundhog said 6 weeks until spring, then a few more to spring training.
