Ridiculous posting cost insisted by ebay
Depends what you're selling, but selling cheap stamps (less than USD10.00) certainly cannot afford the ebay luxury SPEED PAK service which is compulsory for any sellers in Hong Kong and Mainland.
https://www.orangeconnex.com is DHL/FEDEX type company used by eBay sicne August 2025 for sellers in these regions.
We always charge US$4 for purchases since sending from post office is cheap here. Now we have to send purchases by SPEED PAK which is way way above the cost of the buys. Naturally, the buyer pays for the postage, but would you pay USD15+ postage to buy something that costs you $2? Not likely, I wouldn't.
ebay is killing all the stamp collectors and benefit local auction firms who charge 0 to 5% commission for consignment.
Selling on ebay is fun (have been a member since 2008), it is a way of many friends sharing the same interest world-wide.
Before of this policy, there is no choice but to to say farewell.
