Revising feedback
Hey, guys. I'm wondering how long it takes for revised feedback to be posted in my account. I explained to the buyer how to do it, and they said they did it but I can't see it. Any advice? Thanks.

I know how hard a negative hurts.
As long as you don't have any defects to go along with it...
the actual comment really isn't too bad.
...but you will have to sit for a whole year staring at it

·4 months ago@serpentinex3 I agree with the others. Your buyer either told you what you wanted to hear (i.e. they would revise the feedback) and are now giving an excuse, or they do not know how to do it (that's less likely in my view). Once a buyer revises feedback, it shows up instantly.
I think I would drop this, and instead respond to the negative feedback in a professional manner. If you messed up and did not check the timer, simply state that and then state what you did to resolve the buyer's issue. Be honest. Don't find fault with the buyer. Do that and I think you'll find you will be okay.
If your buyer wanted to revise the feedback and they did not know how to do it, they would tell you. Instead, they've told you they did it. It is possible they didn't submit the revision, but I think that his highly unlikely. They had no problem finding the submit button when they left the negative feedback. I wouldn't keep bugging them about it.
Unfortunately I do not see any issues with the feedback that would result in eBay removing it or even revising it themselves. The buyer's complaint sounds reasonable. They did not attack you personally. They didn't talk about other things outside of their purchase. If you by chance offered the buyer a refund if they would revise the feedback, that's a no-no and you would not want to bring eBay into that where an actual person might see that message exchange.

·4 months agoUsually right away. I agree with @inhawaii My advice is to ask the buyer again in 24 hrs. If it doesn't get resolved with revision you could try an appeal but that's no guarantee due to it being a description issue.

My money would be on ... your buyer didn't do it -or- couldn't figure out how to do it.
