Return Policy: For Parts / Not working / as-is listings
Was just looking at the new seller protections. The recent change on items sold as not working / for parts / as-is a welcome one. Free returns are now very limited on this.
Does this mean that we need to use a different business return policy? Our default policy is 30 day free returns and we apply it on all our listings. Or can we simply use our normal business return policy and eBay will override it as part of this change?

OP11 months agoFYI .. there's been a big update to eBay seller protections for items classified as for Parts / Not Working. Just found out from another site that yes, eBay's return policy on items classified as such will override your own default return policy in your listing. In a nutshell, it is this:
You can continue using your normal 30-day free returns business policy — eBay’s new change will effectively override the return process for “as-is / not working / for parts†listings, blocking remorse returns and cutting the Not As Described claim window to 3 days.
