return of money to a buyer when the item they bought was no longer available.
the item seems to have been listed twice in eBay. One item was canc elled the end of December but apparently the second was still listed although I couldn't bring it up under my name. The item was sold February 4 but no money appeared in my account. Than on February 20 I spoke to someone about it and this transaction ended up badly. But lo and behold the money was credited to my account on February 21 the very next day. I want the money returned to the buyer (my take plus shipping and eBay's). I can't find anyone tp talk to about this misjustice.

I don't understand why the buyer hasn't filed an ITEM NOT RECEIVED case.
Buyers are not satisfied when they send a payment and get nothing in return. Plus they are often impatient.

·3 years agoCareful what you do. You were credited money to your account. It still could be taken away in the future from you. You could get in a situation which you give a refund and then your account also gets a debit of the same amount. And then that would take forever to fix. Best thing to do...don't spend the money that you got for awhile. And sit and wait from buyer or from what eBay might do. I have had eBay forgot to charge my monthly due and then double charge me the next month.

So the bottom line is you got paid for the item but now you want to refund the buyer?
What is preventing you from doing so?
