Return labels
Hello, I have a buyer who wants to return a pair of shoes. I already uploaded a USPS ground label so the item is marked as shipped back to me from the buyer. However, it needs a priority mail label and ebay won't allow me to upload another label. Any thoughts on what to do?

·3 weeks agoIf you want a Priority label because it was sent in a priority box, that's not needed. Return labels are their own type of label and don't care about weight, dimensions or if the box is priority/express. They are also moved at a lower priority than GA so they will be sent back to you at the speed of 'when we get to it'.
If you want to give the customer a Priority label to speed up the return, then you would have to buy it elsewhere and send it to the customer. You would not be charged for the eBay label if it's not used.

·3 weeks agoDid your customer open "return request"? Customer is supposed to print label from their computer. EBAY only uses FedEx for returns (regardless of how the item was shipped).
Sounds like you may have just "sent the customer a label" without allowing customer to print label through EBAY "return request" system. This could be a problem because customer would have to use "exact same size box" with same weight.
When customer prints label using EBAY automated "return system" (they can use any size box or weight).
