Restrictions
it’s crazy how customer support can’t help at all with account restrictions after completing everything asked of me and submitting all documents I wait 72 hours to then get told sorry I have to wait another 72 hours because they didn’t respond in the timely manner they were supposed to . It’s not a very good buisness to restrict account and not give response times when you said , with a whole buisness of employees and I still can’t get answered very disappointing

·2 years agoDid they actually tell you that the response/decision would be available in EXACTLY 72 hours? Does the 72 hours include weekends?
If you told a buyer you would be shipping "tomorrow morning" how would feel if they contacted you at 12:01PM and asked "why haven't you shipped, you said tomorrow morning and you are now 1 minute late.

·2 years agoHi @eliana_1794 sorry for your frustrations.
My question is this: how did you contact Customer Service? Did you call an overseas phone center? If so, they do not have the authority to help.
You might try reaching out to the social media customer service. They do have authority to fix things and are well trained. They will not make up stories or give damaging advice like the overseas center is known to do.
Send a brief private message to the reps at eBay for Business Facebook, or to X (twitter). Good luck and i hope this gets resolved to your benefit.

·2 years agoLook at it from a different persepctive. At least they are still reviewing your account. As long as you provided the information that they wanted & the information is valid, just patiently wait for the review to be completed by ebay.
Good luck!
