RESTRICTED , one seller is listing a dry rodenticide under ultrasonic repellent against ebay policy
I am trying to list a natural rodent repellent on ebay. I was denied because an ai bot wrote this is restricted to getting an epa registration, even though it is exempt by epa the 25b exclusion, but, one seller is listing a dry rodenticide under ultrasonic repellent , ai won't remove it, yet won't let me list my product.
I reported the products (there are many) with the button and all of the cases were closed with no product being removed. This is unfair, and I am sure ebay does not intend to discriminate with unfair practices so what should I do? PS I am getting something with epa even though registration is not required , only through ebay.

·1 year agoAcross the board, eBay can be construed as unfair in many aspects. There are ~1.7 billion listings on eBay with perhaps a hundred thousand listings reported each day.
AI is the tool of obvious choice for sorting through the listings that are reported.
No eBay employee will be looking at your reports.

Have you analyzed the listing and tried to figure out what part of it might be incorrectly triggering the bot?

eBay can prohibit any listing it wants for any reason, and you agreed to that in the user agreement. If by "discrimination" you are talking about equal protection under the constitution, I do not think rodent repellent retailers are a protected class in the 14th amendment.
so what should I do?
As far as your item goes, if you can't figure out how to list it without triggering the BOT then I would say there is not much you can do. As for the other items, I suppose you could file a report with the EPA.
