@askmct the toggle under Pricing Options just controls whether or not the fields for Auto Price Reduction are shown on your listing form, but even if that toggle is switched on, there are still multiple fields that would have to be filled in for the Auto Price Reduction to actually happen.
On your listing which sold for less than you intended, were these fields filled in?
As stated, that menu does not control whether those features are active on your listing, only whether they are visible. We need more information to help you understand what actually happened. Can you please provide the listing that you're referring to?
ebay have changed their message now. They are now saying that an automated offer was sent to the buyer even though I didn't have offers turned on.
You do not have to have offers from buyers enabled to send offers. Did you ever send any offers, even if you intended them to be a one time thing? The box to send automated offers is usually checked by default if so and many sellers have missed it.

·1 year agoExcept we don't know what the issue was. Or what the solution was.
It is only a matter of time before someone else raises the same issue and we start the whole dance all over again.

OP1 year agoNo nothing was toggled ON on the listing page and I have never seen the "hidden" menu before so I didn't know it existed!
