Appeal for eBay Account Restriction and Request for Reinstatement

Dear eBay Seller Performance Team,
I am writing to respectfully appeal the restriction placed on my eBay seller account, M.S
Enterprises (eBay Username: leathercraft-1975), and to request a thorough review of the
account for possible reinstatement.
I understand that the account received a BBE action after recording 3 BBE transactions out of
79 total transactions, resulting in a 3.8% BBE/SNAD rate, compared with the applicable market
average of approximately 0.8%.
I have carefully reviewed the transactions that contributed to this action and fully understand the
seriousness of these buyer experiences.
Of the three affected transactions:
- Two transactions involved “Significantly Not as Described” concerns.
- One transaction involved a late-shipping/Item Not Received concern.
- After reviewing each case, all three buyers were refunded in an effort to resolve the issues and
ensure that the affected customers were not left dissatisfied.
I also understand that the account had 0% Seller Fault Unfulfilled (0 out of 79 transactions),
compared with the market average of approximately 1.4%. While I recognize that the
BBE/SNAD rate was above the applicable benchmark, the overall transaction history also
demonstrates that the account was successfully fulfilled and that there were no seller-fault
unfulfilled transactions during the reviewed period.
I take full responsibility for improving the areas that contributed to these buyer cases. I have
reviewed my selling and fulfillment processes and am taking additional steps to prevent similar
issues, including:
1. Improving product descriptions and ensuring that listings accurately reflect the actual item
received by the buyer.
2. Reviewing product specifications, photographs, measurements, and condition details before
publishing or updating listings.
3. Strengthening order-processing and shipping procedures to reduce the possibility of late
shipment or Item Not Received cases.4. Monitoring tracking information more closely and taking prompt action whenever a shipment
encounters a delay.
5. Responding to buyer concerns quickly and working toward appropriate resolutions before
issues escalate.
6. Continuing to monitor seller performance metrics closely so that any potential problem can be
identified and corrected immediately.
I value the opportunity to sell on eBay and understand that maintaining buyer trust and meeting
eBay's performance standards are essential responsibilities of every seller. The affected cases
have been addressed, and I am committed to maintaining a significantly higher standard going
forward.
I respectfully ask eBay to conduct a manual review of the account, the three affected
transactions, the resolutions provided to the buyers, and the account's overall transaction
history. In particular, I would appreciate consideration of the fact that all three affected buyers
were refunded and that the account recorded 0% Seller Fault Unfulfilled across all 79
transactions.
If there are any additional corrective measures, documentation, or information required from me,
I am fully prepared to provide them and comply with eBay's seller performance requirements.
I sincerely value my relationship with eBay and would appreciate the opportunity to continue
serving buyers on the platform while demonstrating that these issues have been addressed and
will not be repeated.
Thank you for taking the time to review my appeal. I respectfully request that the restriction on
M.S Enterprises / leathercraft-1975 be reconsidered and that the account be reinstated if,
following your review, eBay determines that the account now meets the applicable
requirements.
Sincerely,
M.S Enterprises

·1 week agoAs @tobaccocardyahoo stated below there is no chance you will be reinstated.
BBE restrictions are automated. There is no appeal.
you stated -After reviewing each case, all three buyers were refunded in an effort to resolve the issues and ensure that the affected customers were not left dissatisfied.
Refunding the buyer does NOT leave them satisfied. Every time a buyer receives something that is significantly not as described, just giving them money back doesnt make them happy and want to buy on eBay.
Foreign sellers that sell to the US are big issue with buyer satisfaction.
This is why eBay uses BBE -
You will need to find another place to sell your items.

·1 week agoI am not aware of a seller who has been restricted due to BBE having come back to this forum to advise us that they have been reinstated.
I believe that is because, buyers blocked due to BBE are not reinstated. It is automatic and there is no appeal.
