Removing an offensive listing?
Summary: wayne1833 is experiencing an issue with an offensive listing that remains unresolved in their task list on eBay, despite appealing and being unable to remove it. krazzykats suggests waiting for a while as sometimes listings can be removed after some time. fern*wood shares a similar experience, stating listings can take months to disappear. Others, like femmefan1946 and jonathanbrightlight, offer alternative methods to try and remove listings, including navigating via the site map or using app functions. Many members express frustration with dealing with listings affected by AI decisions.
I had a post card that was flagged as offensive. It pops up for me to resolve but ebay will not allow me to remove it from my resolve issue task. It tells me I am unable to remove it.
How do we get the item off our task list? I appealed ebay and they denied the appeal but it still remains in my task. I have went to the help portion and the chat is not at help at all

I had that exact thing happen... it was a legit sale of a NIP, sealed, apple earpods (sold in 5 minutes, then eBay created somethign like that).
I contact CS, appealed, the whole 9 yards. Waste of my time. With time, it will go away. It didn't hurt my account in any way.. just seeing the notification was annoying.
This tooooooooo shall pass deep breath

I tried everything but couldn't get mine removed.
I never appealed mine..,ain't gonna try...LOL😆
I think because they were done with artificial intelligence around this time period there's not much we can do...'the lights went out' when artificial intelligence took over.

·2 weeks agoI've had better success in the app on my phone sometimes, just swiping right to left across it in the Inactive items list.

·2 weeks agoGo to listing
Scroll down to listing number on right above description
Copy number.
Go to Site Map (bottom of page)
Go to Seller
Go to End Listing
Paste number in as indicated.
May be the long way round , but it works for me.

·2 weeks ago · EditedI have one sitting in my inactive listings. Same symptoms. Seems not to do anything other than annoy me..
I do not care.

·2 weeks agoLet it sit for a day. I do remember a while back having something pulled and put on my task list. Think after a few hours I was able to remove it. This was a long while back.
Maybe someone else will know more and post here.

·2 weeks agoEbay has ended some of mine while also telling me to end them. They sit in my inactives until ebay decides I've been chastised enough and they finally disappear. I think my last one took months to go away.
