refund
How do I give a partial refund due to combined shipping? buyer had already paid for separate shipping and and I was lazy and combined shipping and now I owe this person money. They are holding back the review until I pay them and I can't figure it out. eBay's site just sends me around in circles.

·3 months agoKeep in mind that eBay does not use feedback to assess member accounts.
Buyers may use feedback to choose seller but most go on the rating and believe 95% is an A.
Also, you could give them what they want, and they could still leave negative, neutral , or no feedback.
Actually if they "hold back " the feedback long enough, you will get an automatic Positive from eBay.
You might want to add this buyer to your Blocked list. Demanding customers do not become pussycats when you give them what they want.
And if they leave negative FB, you might be able to have it removed for Feedback Extortion.

·3 months agoYou’ve been given good instructions on how to do this, but I wanted to comment on the other part of the post. You do not owe this buyer anything, unless you promised it to them before they made the order. When they placed the order, they paid the listed price, including the shipping, and whether you shipped them together or not, them demanding a partial refund before they will leave feedback is against eBay policy and completely unethical. While I do often refund when I combine shipping if needed, that type of attitude would quickly lead me to report and block a buyer.

Go to your "Orders" page -- scroll down to "Paid and shipped".
Scroll down to either of the items purchased by the buyer. To the right of "View order details" is a circle with three dots inside -- click on that, and scroll down to "Send refund."
Click on that, and follow all the instructions.
Don't forget to complete the refund.
