Received an offer on an item 7 hours ago. When I click to respond, it says I have no new offers.
My ebay email says I received an offer 7 hours ago on an item. When I click to respond, I am taken to a page that shows the item and says "no new offers". I responded with an email thru ebay to the customer making a counter offer.
Is this an ebay glitch?

·10 months agoDid the item end and auto relist in between when the offer was made and when you clicked to respond? Buyer apparently gets an 'offer declined' notification in that case.

·10 months agoNot likely a glitch but the buyer has retracted their offer it happens sometimes.

·10 months agoEither the buyer cancelled their offer somehow, or their account is gone.

OP10 months agoThanks for your reply. The item is not in "awaiting payment" or "awaiting shipment". It is still showing on my active list.
Any other thoughts?

Any offer a seller sends, and/or any COUNTER offer from you a seller accepts will be "Immediate Payment Required". eBay took away your "accept button", so these all have to be paid separately at full shipping cost, and the items will remain for sale until someone pays for them. Someone may have paid already.
