Questionable counterfeit
Summary: adonestyle expressed concerns about eBay removing two of their items due to counterfeit claims. They clarified that one fashion item lacked any designer logos or names, while the other was a genuine designer item purchased from a reputable business. grann-4629 advised against relisting them on eBay. lovincloud9 shared a similar experience related to size policy issues and recommended checking if a sizing change could resolve the problem. luckythewinner reminded that mentioning a brand in any context could still lead to a counterfeit claim, as intellectual property rights can apply to design features.
I have 2 items removed because eBay considers them counterfeit. On one of the items there is nothing on my description or the item to be counterfeit, that is a fashion item with no designer's logos or name anywhere. I never named as designer item it's similar to a designer's but no logo anywhere.
The second one is a designer's item in original box and dust bag with a tag from manufacture's and sold in major stores. I bought it from a multimillion-dollar business which sells fashion and High end.

·2 weeks agoTwo points:
Did you mention another brand anywhere in your listing, ex. saying it was similar to that brand or saying it was not that brand?
An item does not need to name a brand or have a logo to be counterfeit. Intellectual property rights can cover designs as well as brands names.

·2 weeks agoI had one of those pop up yesterday but the real reason was bc the new size policy. I had to go in and change the size on the chart bc it was a 4x and that's not an option anymore, I had to put a 3x on the size chart and explain the issue in the description, but the message still said on one page it was a size issue and another page when I clicked on it said counterfeit violation so maybe that is the case for you also. Ebay approved the change after that and put my listing back up. I hope that helps!

·2 weeks agoCan't help you with the counterfeit issue, but please don't try to relist them ... eBay doesn't like that. Best of luck.
