Question about Net Sales number in monthy ebay seller hub report
So in the month of December it shows $1,842 net sales does this number include returns and refunds meaning it's not showing the 200 dollars in returns i gave out or has this already been factored in and the 1862 is after giving those returns thus a true NET number?

If you are, I'm not sure what the question is If you take the number on the left, subtract the next two boxes of number, the final box gives you the adjusted gross income before your costs that Ebay doesn't know anything about. Each box is labeled.
FYI the last box is negative, but only because it is the amount they transferred to your bank. If you added boxes 2,3 & 4, it would equal box 1.

OP1 year agoOh ok I was actually referring to this report and more specifically the number on the top right does that include returns/refunds for the month meaning 1800 after minusing out the returns.

·1 year agoSame kind of report. I use a Desktop and you are using the mobile app.
The first column is your total number. The boxes to the right are how that first number breaks down. If you add up the boxes to the right, they equal the first box.
Hopefully you are keeping your own records. That is something all sellers need to do. The reports you can get off Ebay would be to help make sure everything balances but should not be your primary source of info. You have other selling costs that are not tracked on Ebay. All those records you should be keeping yourself.

OP1 year agoCorrect we all have or most of us cost of goods, storage if applicable etc. My last question is that 1800 number net doesn't match what was deposited in my bank for the same month which was 1450. What do you think is responsible for the $350 delta between the 2 numbers? Is this returns sent for the month or some other thing?

·1 year agoThere is a report for Payouts too, so you may want to go and look at those as well.
It is going to depend on how often you have your money transferred to you. Is it Daily, Weekly, ????
Which makes me realize I made a mistake when I was explaining the numbers. The number to the right would include payouts sent last month but were received in the calendar month you are looking at the report for. So the number to the right would NOT necessarily equal the number in the first column. My bad, it is late here.
Honestly I haven't been drinking for New years, maybe I should have been. Sorry about that.
You have other report options on the same page you see this one on, maybe play around a bit and see what suites you best. The Financial Statement report is pretty good, but for some reason doesn't tell you your total selling fees. But it may help a bit too.
