"Promoted or not?

I want to opt out of the "promoted listing" as I have chosen to do many times over the years with other listings (usually when the item is receiving NO escalating views). However, when I hit "revise" and scroll down to 'promoted listings,' there is NO option/icon there to allow me to do this - I have never experienced this before. Weirder still, it says "promote your listing" which obviously suggests it is NOT promoted, though as you can see above - it says it IS - which is it?
What goes here?- what happened to the icon and how DO I un-promote it (assuming it IS promoted) ?

Another way would be to end and then just use sell similar. Then you "should" be able to edit out the promotion. I believe if someone looked at the orginal listing in any of eBay's ways, shapes or forms in the past 30 days it would still get dinged with promotion charges. Same thing happens if try to edit the promoted rate. Defaults to orginal. You could say it's eBay's way of "Walking all over you", so to speak. 🙂

Go to your Manage Active Listings page, Promoted Listings column, then hit the Edit Promoted Listing link. Hopefully that will work.
