But I don't understand.
If I activate that offer, it says pay per click.
If there are 30 promotional visits, do I have to pay $30?

·7 months agoWe shouldn't have to pay for clicks through advertisements that don't benefit us. I'm staying away for it, but was interested in know what the community thought. Also it is vague. Very little explanation of how it would benefit a seller.

·1 year agoI just ended my campaign after 2 weeks. I sold $893 with $177 in additional fees. My fee rate ended up being 33.3%, if you can edge out a profit with 33.3% ebay fees then maybe it will work for you but I virtually sold all $893 worth of my merchandise for zero profit. I have nearly $300,000 in listed merchandise and have been selling for 20 years, it's not my first trial of ebay's latest scheme, I should have known better.

Aren't you the one that set the ad rate you were willing to pay for a sale in this campaign? If you chose a fee that was too high for you, that is something you should have realized and set a fee you could live with. I'm not sure I understand your complaint

·1 year agoI just kind of did what was recommended. There is no way in my mind to understand how this would translate to sales until trying. The metrics eBay gives are always best case scenario likely of very popular items. I also set a daily max of $15 so it didn’t get too out of hand. I’d get thousands of impressions, hundreds of clicks and only about 8 sales. If you’re paying $177 (plus standard fees) extra for $893 in sales that’s a very poor roi.

·1 year agoThen I would suggest you take your time and learn about a program before using it. It is your responsibility to do that.
One thing to keep in mind on Ebay. ANY number they suggest for almost anything is going to be incorrect if you do your own research and run your own numbers, you will see what I mean. YOUR needs come first. YOU ALWAYS set the numbers on promotions. NEVER use what Ebay suggests.

·1 year agoYou pay the ad rate for every click, then after the fact (usually the following billing period) you are reimbursed 75% of the ad rate up to $200 in line with the promotion terms & conditions .
Since you set the ad rate, the amount you pay will depend on that.

OP1 year agoHi, thanks for responding. I don't understand. For example, if 100 people view my auction in one day, do I have to pay $100? based on pay per click
If so, it doesn't make sense.

·1 year agoYou will have to pay something. The amount you pay is determined by the ad rate you set.
Here's my bottom line advice: If you don't understand how cost per click advertising works, don't use it. You only have 29 listings and it's not right for you. Cost per click advertising is meant for large sellers with multi-quantity in-demand listings.
