Problem adding photos
About 10% of the time, I get an error when trying to add photos while creating listings. It says " must be .mov or mp4 or qt" but im trying to add photos (and doing it exactly the same way that works 90% of the time). Ebay blames it on my browser. They said use chrome or the mobile app. I get the exact same error on the mobile app. Any suggestions? Thanks!

·5 months agoeBay can be glitchy sometimes if it won’t work properly try reloading the page and trying again. If it’s something more complex might be the wrong file size ratio and storage

·5 months agoIt sounds like the error message you get when adding a photo(s) to a variations listing.
On a variations listing, you have to go to the variations to add photos.
I just tried it out on one of my listings.
Yup. that's what's happening.
You're trying load photos from the "video" upload screen.

·5 months agoEven if your image file size is within the allowed limits, its dimensions (width and height) might still be too large for app to handle smoothly.
